Casanova was purchased from the Elite Foal Auction in Verden. He is out of the unique Lauries Crusador x Rubenstein lines which needs no introduction and is by the much celebrated stallion Contendro's Bube. His sire is the handsome offspring of the powerful Contendro I and successful Pik Bube lines, who finished his performance test as the Reserve Champion with outstanding results all around with 9s for temperament and willingness under saddle.

In 2014 Casanova was assessed by the Anglo European Stud Book who were so impressed by his quality that they awarded him the FULL LICENSE STATUS. This is usually reserved for stallions who have shown exceptional talent in the age classes, so it is a very rare accolade for a rising three year old! 

Casanova is a modern type Hanoverian with three extravagant and correct paces. He attended the British Warmblood Show as a yearling where he was placed 1st by two foreign judges. This young stallion simply oozes quality and will be a top competition prospect for the future with an exciting career ahead of him. 

Casanova is now working beautifully under saddle, with incredible ability to both extend and collect in all three paces. His training is being focussed for an advanced career in mind, therefore he will only be attending the Young Horse classes if there is an opportunity in his training schedule and he has a break in his stud commitments.
